Rabbit Recipes
We raise White New Zeland & Californians at our farm. Rabbit meat is all white meat and is sold whole at $4.25 per pound.

Grilled Honey Unique
1 frying rabbit, cut up.
3/4 cup terragon vinegar
1 cup honey
2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsps butter or margarine
1 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients except rabbit and heat until butter or margarine melts.

Place rabbit on grill with rack set at highest level. turn rabbit frequently and baste with sauce during grilling. Cook approximently 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until rabbit is golden color and tender.


Grilled Sweet And Sour Rabbit
1- 2lb. fryer cut up
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp curry powder
4 tsp.grated orange rind
4 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. water
3 tsp. honey
salt and pepper to taste.

Mix dry ingredients together, then make into paste with orange rind, mustard, water and honey. Spread about half on one side of rabbit and grill under medium heat 8 to 10 minutes. Turn, coat with remainder of mixture on other side. Grill until golden brown and well done.
